Admission into Al-Furqan Academy is open to all children regardless of race, religion or ethnic background. Those children who
are classified as Special Ed children will be admitted on a case-by-case
basis as determined by the Admissions Committee.
General admissions criteria begins with the registration process, which requires: Birth certificate, social security card, immunization
record, recent physical of good health, signed enrollment application, contract and emergency contact form.
Admissions requirements are as follows:
Pre – K must be four years old by September 1.
Kindergarten must be five years old by September 1.
First graders must be six years old by September 1.
Admissions transfer students must have available records and transcripts from previous school. If a student was dismissed from
a school for inappropriate behavior, admission may be denied.
Open Admissions Policy:
The Academy admits students of any race, color, sex, national or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and other activities. We not discriminate in the administration of educational policies, admissions policies, athletics, or any other school administered program. We are committed to the development of cultural, racial, religious, economic and geographic diversity within our school community.
Zero Tolerance Policy:
Al-Furqan Academy does not tolerate or accept students with a past history of aggression, drugs or alcohol use. We also have a zero tolerance policy towards violence or the possession of weapons of any kind.
